Kingsford Park students earn spots in Spelling Bee Finals

Daniel Buske, fourth grade, Audrey Donovan, fifth grade, and Victor Sabirianov, sixth grade, are the qualifiers from Kingsford Park Elementary School for the Scripps National Spelling Bee Regional Finals, to be held at Oswego High School on March 17.Three students from Kingsford Park Elementary School have qualified for the Scripps National Spelling Bee Regional Finals and will compete with other top spellers from around the district for a trip to Washington, D.C.
Sixth-grader Victor Sabirianov claimed the top spot for the KPS spelling bee and will be joined by fourth-grader Daniel Buske and fifth-grader Audrey Donovan in the Regional Finals to be held March 17 at Oswego High School.
The winner of the Regional Finals will secure a spot in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, held in Washington, D.C. and televised nationally.
