OMS Students Shine with Q1 Honors

Nearly 200 Oswego Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade students recently received Buc Pride recognition following their academic and personal achievements during the first marking period of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
Honorees were awarded certificates and were praised for their perfect attendance, outstanding behavior and passing all classes. This is the second school year OMS administrators have offered the recognition program, which includes having names read on morning announcements, publicity and a congratulatory letter to parents.

Of the seventh- and eighth-grade honorees, four students from each team were selected by their team teachers, special area teachers and school counselors for special recognition on the school’s bulletin board. Those students highlighted in eighth grade were: Clayton Andrews, Landon Brown, Abby Noto, Beatrice Rastley, Sophia Barr, Nyla DeGroff, Caillou Myers, Ian Windsor, Erica Colasurdo, Savannah Geer, Kyle Martin and Adrienne Santos. Seventh-graders selected to appear on the bulletin board were: Miles Bandla, Parker Steffen, Kari Johnson, Aniyah Standard, Lilly Allison, Sophia Cahill, Jacob Barton, Daniel Dunn, Gabrielle Budd, Makayla Demott, Zachary Munger and Tanner Palmitesso.
