OHS Interact Gives 'Blankets to Babies'
image
Members of the Oswego High School Interact Club and the Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club recently got together to work on a project to benefit newborn infants at the Oswego hospital.

The community service project known as "Blankets For Babies" was initiated last year by the two respective organizations, and continues to raise donations to purchase materials that members then assemble for donation to the hospital.

Sunrise Rotary President Sharon Baker stated that “ it is extremely rewarding to work with such dedicated and responsible young people that are willing to give up their Sunday afternoon to do something so positive for our community.” Interact Club Advisor Warren Shaw added that “community service is an important part of what high school students need to experience. It is what our club is about…giving back to the community that supports us.”
