With the rapid increase of Internet use in the classroom, educators are quickly learning the ins and out of web design. The Internet provides teachers with a rich educational tool. There are various types of  websites that can be created for educational use.  Some of  the different types of websites that teachers can create and use are:

Web Lessons- Online lessons & activities for students.
Learning Webs- Thematic websites used by students
Class Webs
- Websites for individual classrooms.
Web Quests
- Inquiry based online activities.
Virtual Field Trips- Experiential online field trips.
Student Webs- Web pages created by students.
Ed. Resources- Pages created to assist educators.
Internet Projects- Collaborative online projects.
Scavenger Hunts- Educationally directed online search projects.
Tutorials- Pages that provide instruction on using software or just how to perform certain tasks.

This page was created to provide teachers with  tools to help them  successfully create dynamic web pages for their students. There are links to sites where you can obtain free graphics, sound files and animated gifs. Other pages focus on helping educators understand about educational web design. Links to sites  containing components   like web counters, html tips, tune up sites, etc will also be found. If you are using FrontPage for your web creations I have added a section to help in using this dynamic web authoring package.  You can also browse through the links of web pages that I have found that educators and/or students have created that fit the categories listed above. I find these sites to be exemplary.
