VESID offers access to a full range of services that may be needed by persons with disabilities through their lives. Through its administration of special education, vocational rehabilitation and independent living programs, VESID coordinates policy and services relating to:

• special education services for students with disabilities (3-21);
• transition services for students with disabilities from school to adult services;
• vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities, ages 16 and older; and
• independent living services for people with disabilities of all ages.

Melissa LoVetere is the VESID Couselor for Oswego High School.  She comes to our building once a month for individual questions and information.  There will be an orientation session in late Septemeber, which I have all students attend.  If your child has not established a folder with VESID, you will need to fill out an application.  I have extra applications, if you need one.
