Exceptional Leighton students earn Slime Time

Leighton students make slimeLeighton students earned the chance to make slime in the art room in April.

Students can earn a creative coupon by following and exceeding the PBIS expectations in the art room. Students save these coupons for special projects offered at the end of the day.

Mrs. Gorham had over 50 students participate in slime making! Artists measured, mixed and created their own bowl of slime using glue, staflo starch and water.

They mixed food coloring to make their own color as well. Students will continue to earn coupons in class to get a chance to make a clay project, tie dye t-shirts, more slime, sidewalk chalk and more!
