The formation of the Education and Personnel Office is the result of the restructuring done by the Superintendent, Dr. Dean Goewey, and the Board of Education during the 2015-2016 school year. This office is a combination of what used to be the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction and the Director of Personnel.  This office attends to all of the personnel and benefits needs for all of the approximately 850 Oswego City School District's full and part-time employees and is also responsible for the academic, extra curricular, athletic, special education, and curriculum and instruction needs for all of our approximately 3,700 students. The needs of our students is always our first priority as is our desire to help our students become "Fully Prepared and Life Ready!"

Professional Application Process (Administrative, Coaching, Teaching and Teaching Assistant, Substitute Teachers and Substitute Teaching Assistant)

All certificated candidates must submit an application, cover letter, resume, college transcripts, college placement file, at least three (3) letters of reference, and a copy of NYS certification (if applicable).  Applications, except for civil service, and all supporting materials should be submitted electronically.
