OCSD launches new Instagram page

Oswego City School District Superintendent Dr. Dean Goewey is proud to announce the expansion of OCSD social media platforms to better connect with families and community members.
Dr. Goewey has invited OCSD students, staff members, community residents and other supporters of education to follow the new Instagram page. When logged onto the Instagram application, just search for OswegoCSD and click “Follow” to view OCSD’s digital footprint with a plethora of photos and videos from students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12.
“There are many exciting events happening throughout the Oswego City School District,” Dr. Goewey said. “We hope to be a part of your Instagram feed, as we strive to continue to communicate in a variety of ways with all stakeholders. Students are the heart of our schools and we are enthusiastic to showcase their talents in this added way.”
Additional highlights may include, but aren’t limited to, staff professional development opportunities, administrative priorities and district-wide resources/information, among additional topics.
In addition to the OCSD Instagram page, the district has moved toward a more visual Facebook presence and has decided to include use of videos (both standard and Facebook live), photo albums and slideshows.
