OCSD to host electric violinist Mark Wood

The Oswego City School District will welcome electric violinist Mark Wood for an upcoming public concert.
 
Wood is a founding member of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and is an in-demand performer for many top artists. He has performed with Alicia Keys, Billy Joel, Lenny Kravitz and several others. Wood will conduct several workshops and performances with OCSD students in the week leading up to the 7:30 p.m. June 1 concert in the theater at Oswego High School, 2 Buccaneer Blvd., Oswego. The concert will feature Wood and OHS orchestra students from grades six to 12.
 
Tickets are $5 each and may be purchased at the Oswego Middle School or by contacting Paul Brewster at 315-341-2300 or pbrewste@oswego.org. If there are remaining tickets available, they may be purchased at the door the night of the event.
