New Media Outlets

The Oswego City School District has created several new outlets for students, parents, families and community members to connect with district news and information via several social media avenues.
The week of October 9th, Oswego City School District launched an official Facebook page,, where updates on OCSD happenings and stories about exceptional student achievement will be posted.
The Buc Buzz mobile device app, launched last year, also provides real-time updates and information on school information and athletics. The app is available to download for free on iTunes and the Google Play store.
“We are all connected through various devices. As the Internet has become an integral part of our everyday lives, we want families to have the opportunity to easily access information about the great things going on in our schools,” said OCSD Director of Instructional Technology, Network, Information and Multimedia Systems Jamie Sykut.
