July 25th Superintendent Search Update

July 25th, 2023

Dear Members of the Oswego City School District Community:

The Board of Education took another step forward last night in the collaborative process of finding our next Superintendent by having two candidates meet with the community stakeholder committee groups.

The Board would like to thank the stakeholders, including parents (Ashley Fatiga, Katie O’Leary, Tim Stahl, Becky Waters), teachers (Lisa Coleman, Lilly DeCaire, Tami Gills, Josh Lerch, Michelle McManus,Tracey Warner), staff (Melanie Hiller, Jim Jackson, Sue Kells, Melissa Syrell), administrators (Samantha Spaulding, Jamie Sykut), and cabinet members (Lisa-Marie Carter, Bob Siracuse). Also represented were members of unions (Jennifer Cahill, Carrie Patane), Home & School Associations (Teresa Gilbert, Sarah Nelson), and the community (Ed Alberts, Penny Foster-Pratt). We thank everyone for taking their time to learn more about our candidates and providing us feedback.

The Board will continue to be diligent in our process to ensure that we find the best person to lead our District and we will update everyone as we move forward.

Sincerely,
