Leighton visited by Laker athletes for Girls on the Run

SUNY Oswego student athletes visited Leighton Elementary School to help and volunteer with the Girls on the Run program.

Girls on the Run aims to inspire participants of any ability to find and recognize their individual strengths while connecting with their peers in a team setting.

Oswego Laker women’s hockey, women’s soccer and women’s swimming and diving team members volunteered as coaches who facilitated lessons that blended physical activity with life skill development.
