OMS Holds Top 50 Ceremony

Fifty students from Oswego Middle School were recently honored at a special recognition event celebrating the top 25 academic achievers from both the seventh and eighth grades. 

The recognition ceremony, held at Bridie Manor, highlighted the dedication, hard work, and academic excellence demonstrated by these young scholars. School leaders, community sponsors, and proud families were on hand for the evening of inspiration and celebration.

The dinner event featured remarks from several distinguished guests, including Dr. Raymond Kilmer, Superintendent of the Oswego City School District; Kristin Norfleet, a member of the Oswego City School District Board of Education; Amy Godkin, principal of Oswego Middle School, and George Reed, president of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club. Each speaker commended the students for their achievements and emphasized the importance of academic commitment.

The Top 50 students recognized were:

7th Grade
Kathrine Auler, Devon Bond, Audrey Canale, Ethan D'Angelo, Giana D'Angelo, Alexander Daigle, Miles Dodd, Claire Fisher, Nathan Fortier, Noah Frost, Mia Gibson, Ricki Gilbert, Claire Hall, Avella Hartman, Michael Krawczyk, Luffy Lin, Ayla McManus, Abigail Mulcahey, Ellie Murray, Dorian Prosachik, Alexia Prosser, Harper Stone, Nolan Sweet, Sophia Waite and Annaleise Wallace.

8th Grade
Anna Bell, Claire Bezek, Ryan Bowman, Phiona Buck, Cecelia Chamberlin, Nate Chetney, Hailey Freebern, Alexander Galka, Adalynne Green, Lilli Hort, Audrie Hunter, Lucas Kelly, Nina King, Lynnae Lapage, Rowan Mott, Zachary Myers, Calista Nichols, Meghana Nimmagadda, Aiyana Schute, Mason Seinoski, Tenley Smegelsky, Paul Thompson, Emily (Luna) Wahl, Emma Wallace and Priya Ware.
