Dr. Calvin: OCSD set to reopen Jan. 3 as planned

Dec. 29, 2021

Dear Oswego City School District Learning Community,

I am writing to share information on our return to “in-person” learning plans for next week. On next Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, the district will be reopening all of our schools. Accordingly, all students should report to school for instruction.

Aside from this, throughout the winter break the district received several calls from parents and/or guardians who are interested in transporting their students to and from school. Please know, if parents wish to transport their children, the district has no objection to this. We only ask that you contact the transportation department to inform them of this change. The transportation department’s phone number is: 315-341- 2900.

With that said, please know that we look forward to seeing all of our students “in-person” on Jan. 3, 2022. Should any parent or guardian have a question or concerns, they are encouraged to reach out to their school principal directly. Thank you for your time, patience and consideration of this information.

Yours in Education,
Mathis Calvin III, Ed. D.
Superintendent of Schools
