Letter: COVID test kit distribution 2/17 at OHS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – COVID-19 At-Home Test Kit Distribution 2/17

February 11, 2022

Dear Oswego City School District families,

I am happy to announce that we have received another round of COVID-19 at-home testing kits and are ready to distribute them to students next week.

We will be holding a drive-through pickup on Thursday, Feb. 17 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Oswego High School. Please enter via Buccaneer Boulevard no earlier than 4 p.m. to ensure we do not disrupt the flow of traffic related to other on-campus dismissal or other events.

Each student who attends Oswego City School District is eligible to receive one COVID-19 at-home test kit, which includes two tests. Families who are traveling over February recess may want to consider using them once returning to help stem community spread as we return from the break.

If you are unable to pick up the kits Thursday, parents and guardians may pick theirs up Friday, Feb. 18 at their child’s school. Please call ahead of time to ensure prompt service with fewer delays. We cannot send test kits home with children from school.

To report a positive at-home test, please use the following form via the Oswego County website: https://treasurerforms.oswegocounty.com/Forms/Report-Positive-COVID-Self-Tests

As always, please contact your school principal should you have any questions or concerns. I hope you have a restful and enjoyable weekend.

Yours in Education,
Dr. Mathis Calvin III
