39 Students Inducted Into NHS

Thirty-nine distinguished Oswego High School students were recently inducted into the Owl’s Head chapter of the National Honor Society for their scholarship, leadership, service and character.
Surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and peers, the new inductees were celebrated for their accomplishments in and out of the classroom.
“Many of these students I first met as wide-eyed ninth graders in my history classroom,” NHS advisor Kayley Morse said. “Watching them grow into leaders — both at Oswego High School and throughout the community — has been a privilege. I’m proud of the individuals they’ve become and all they continue to contribute.”
This year’s inductees include:
Lily Anzalone, Delaney Bobbett, Leah Cady, Nicholas Campbell, Courtney Chodubski, Layla Chwalek, Paiton Colucci, Dylan Danseco, Madison Dawson, Aidan DeSantis, Madelina Donabella, Emma Enwright, Nathan Freebern, Clare Furlong, Taylor Geraci, Hannah Greutman, Trevor Griffiths, Yael Hunley, Eva Kandt, Michael Kenyon, Eve MacKenzie, Harlow Martinez, Ava Miller, Addison Norfleet, Clementine Rastley, Jade Scheg, Madeleine Shaver, Emily Simpson, Amalia Sloan, Logan Stahl, Grace St. Onge, Carter Steffen, Liam Sugar, Maria Sweet, Joseph Wall Jr., Colin Wallace, Zachary Willis, Olivia Williams and Reagan Wood.
After the inductees recited their oath, Superintendent Dr. Raymond Kilmer III and Oswego High School Principal Dr. Raina Hinman both offered congratulatory remarks to the newest members of the National Honor Society. They encouraged the students to continue a life of service and leadership, while challenging them to stand up and be a voice for good.
