Minetto Elementary Families Share Cookies and Community

Parents and family members joined students in the cafeteria for a special lunchtime event at Minetto Elementary School. Families enjoyed cookies together while celebrating community and gratitude.

“This is an opportunity for families to come in during the school day; and this year, we have really fostered the idea of gratefulness to get together,” said President of Home and School Kristen Hoefer. “We have worked really hard to create a community where everyone feels welcomed from parents, to grandparents and beyond.”

Opening the cafeteria to families during lunch encourages active participation in students’ daily experiences and strengthens connections among families, students and staff. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to family engagement and creating a welcoming environment for all.
