Oswego City School District Kindergarten Registrations are Now Open for the 2026–2027 School Year

Kindergarten and Universal Pre-K (UPK) registrations for the 2026–2027 school year will begin Feb. 9, 2026.

How to register:
Parents and guardians must complete the Pre-Registration Form online, which can be found on the OCSD Central Registration web page.

To complete the registration process, documentation for proof of age and residency must be submitted. A list of acceptable documents is available on the OCSD Central Registration web page.
The following documents must be submitted to the child’s school:
  • An updated immunization record
  • A dental certificate (optional, but requested by NYS law)
  • A physical exam form completed and signed by the child’s physician
Students currently enrolled in an OCSD Universal Pre-K program do not need to re-register or complete a screening.

Kindergarten screening
All incoming kindergarten students will participate in a screening. Schools will contact families at a later date to schedule a time.
