Student teachers should contact their cooperating teacher as soon as they are informed of their placement for additional information such as; expectations, schedule, building access information and curriculum requirements.

To request an OCSD email and account:

Download, print,and fill out an OCSD Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) form.

The AUP form can also be obtained from your cooperating teacher, main office of the building you will be assigned to or by contacting the Technology department at 315-341-2024

Please be sure to include your college email address and cooperating teachers’ name on the form. Then return the signed AUP to the technology department. Please be aware that we are unable to process incomplete forms.

Once the account is created you will receive a Google form questionnaire, sent to your college email address, that must be successfully completed before you receive account credentials.



Make an appointment with the technology department to have your picture taken for an OCSD ID badge by calling 315-341-2024. You should also inquire about setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA) on your cell phone at this time. MFA is a requirement for OCSD accounts.
 



Your account credentials will be provided with your cooperating teacher, who will give them to you. You must complete the MFA set up within 7 days of the account being created or you will lose access. Access will be granted during your student teaching placement for educational use only.

 

At the completion of your student teaching assignment you must return your ID badge to the main office of the building you are assigned and your OCSD account will be deactivated.
